DESCRIPTION: My family and I are more than happy to provide an excellent rating for both Casa Fiesta locations in Nashville, Tennessee. The food is excellent, the service fast and friendly and the resturant and restrooms are always clean. One word of caution though...NEVER SKIP THE CHEESE DIP!

AWSOME MEX in Nashville!
DESCRIPTION: I'm a musician from Texas and I spent six months in the music city, and I couldn't find BBQ brisket anywhere. Luckily, when it came to Mexican food this place felt like home.

DESCRIPTION: I have to admit that after a couple of visits, I'm addicted to the chicken strips. That's right...chicken at a pizza place. That's not to say that the pizza is anything to sneer at. Everything is made in front of you (behind a counter, but at least you can SEE what they're doing to your food) and I have yet to see them measure the ingredients. They use very generous handfulls. So like I said....go get some!

DESCRIPTION: My first trip was to die for! Love the corn bread. You have got to go -- all the food is great. Family owned and the whole family works and serves. All the food is served on paper plates but that just fine.

Great BBQ!
DESCRIPTION: I live in the Dallas (TX) area and travel to northern Kentucky a couple times a year. Even though Herbert's is about 25 miles south of Nashville (meaning an extra 50 miles of driving), my kids and I take the opportunity to stop in and enjoy a great meal and buy a few bottles of their BBQ sauce. The service is always friendly, the food hot and fresh and very reasonably priced.

Herbert's Barbecue had the best food, but sad to see it close!
DESCRIPTION: Herbert's had the best barbecue, corn light bread, white beans, etc., in town. The wait staff was awesome, especially Mrs. Lera and Adam. I miss it already. Hoping they open up again in another location (the city of Franklin forced them out to widen the road). I've been going there nearly every week for the past several years. I'm gonna miss them.

Decent food, filthy restaurant
DESCRIPTION: I am always disappointed by the restrooms, the sticky tables, and the chips that smell of old fry oil. On a more positive note, the cheese dip is fabulous as are most of the entrees. I love that they include lettuce, pico, and sour cream on so many of their plates.

DESCRIPTION: Since my transfer from VA to TN, I frequent the Cherokee, and when out of town guests come, I always prefer to take them to the Cherokee rather than any other restaurants in the Nashville area. The other restaurants in my opinion cannot compete with the food, service and the price.

Great Food! Great Service!
DESCRIPTION: I was really suprised when I stumbled upon a restaurant that served corn dogs as the main dish so I had to try it. I am so glad I did! The food was great and the people were so friendly that you felt that you had known them all your life. The corn dogs just melted in your mouth and to end the meal I ate one of the best funnel cakes I have ever eaten! This will become my new hangout!

Smoke-Filled
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I went for their fish & chips. Fish was ok but the curly fries were "soft" & appeared to have been left-over from lunch. The pub itself was "original" London-style but there was not an area for non-smokers & the ventalation was nill. Therefore, we were constantly taking in second-hand smoke. Not a pleasant experience. For this alone we will not return! The service was fine.

DESCRIPTION: Upon moving from Sarasota, everyone suggested that I "must" try "Equestria"...well.. I have. While I am reticent to judge the quality of any restaurant on three visits, I find the "experience" a bit lacking and frankly, a bit over-rated based on my experience. One good thing is the decor...it's very well done. The steak was advertised as "prime grade", but I found it lacking in tenderness, and it was "chewy". The "crab cakeS" actually were a singular, crab cake which was a bit dry. The salads lacked the crispness associated with such a nice presentation. The bread was served cold (I can't imagine that this was by design but perhaps so). The service seemed tentative, immature and more indicative of perhaps a "chain type theme restaurant" as opposed to a "fine dining" experience. The male "manager" on duty handled a complaint extremely poorly...in fact he seems far too confrontational for such an alleged fine dining, highly touted Memphis restaurant. The female bartender on duty seemed out of her element and perhaps more suited to a casual, say "Chili's" clientele. In summary, I hope to have a better experience in the future. The quality does not seem to support a rather nice ambiance. I'm still trying to locate a well above average restaurant in "Germantown"(area) that reflects its alleged, affluent, and informed taste. So far, I have only had well above average (in fact two great meals) at an east side resturant named "Jarretts".

DESCRIPTION: This restaurant was sold to an investor group, and the chef (Valerie Morris) has hit the bricks! The new chef, Kevin Rains is not much an improvement. The restuarant is over priced, over blown, over-hyped and over rated. The fish is questionable and the steaks are a bit tough. Just pass.

Junior Achievement?
DESCRIPTION: To describe the service at Jonathan's as "being run by Junior Achievement" is an insult to JA... so I won't. This place needs a manager. We waited about 15 minutes just to get a drink order, and I had to go to the bar area to track down an employee to get service. After she spoke with another employee for a couple of minutes, she said she would take our order even though "it was not her job" (since when is customer service not every employee's job?). We immediately gave her the food order so we did not have to wait again. When my daughter's spaghetti came, it did not have the garlic bread... so we then flagged down our waitress (she came out of hiding) and asked for bread. No apology, just very curtly she said, "I'll get it". She never did. Ten minutes later I searched the bar area for the girl who helped us before and she very nicely and quickly brought the bread. Friends of ours were then seated at the next table and we said, "Leave now while you can!" They did not, and 40 minutes later they were searching for a server because they had not gotten their drinks... Never again will we enter their doors.
