Great Ocean View
DESCRIPTION: Every table has an ocean view at this restaurant. The Seafood is great, as well as the hamburgers. We are stuck on the Bacon/Cheese burgers, very good! Another favorite is their Clam Chowder. We feel that Sharky's has the best Clam Chowder on the coast. The service can be a bit slow at times, but worth the wait as the food is good. If you are seated in the smoking section, the noise can be a bit too loud from the bar area.

Great Espresso/Coffee
DESCRIPTION: A wonderful Espresso Bar with excellent coffee. I drink mostly Mochas, and I like the way they mix the chocolate per cup, no pre-made chocolate syrup. Good smoothies made with real fruit. Fast, very friendly service and atmosphere. Open later than most Coffee Houses. A little hard to find because they aren't right in the downtown area, they are almost out of town going south, at Twin Rocks. DESCRIPTION: A local favorite, as well as seasoned tourist favorite. Friendly, hometown service. Most menu offerings are homemade with generous portions at an affordable price. Food is served hot, with care taken that your needs are met. We actually haven't had a bad meal here. Famous for their Chicken and Dumplings. A landmark in Rockaway Beach.

DESCRIPTION: We are from California. We vacation in Oregon every year on the coast. No matter where we stay, we always make a trip here just to have the chicken and dumplings. They are just the best! It is worth the ride no matter where you are staying on the coast. Call first sometimes the hours change depends on the time of year. At least thats what we found out. We tell everyone we know to stop here for a meal.

The Best in Teriyaki
DESCRIPTION: Fabulous food with fast, extremely friendly service. We eat the Chicken Teriyaki at least once a week. Served with Hawaiian style macaroni salad and white rice, this is the best Teriyaki we have had. The price is so affordable, and the place is very clean. The owner/operators are very personable and detailed oriented.

Fresh, Fresh and Good!
DESCRIPTION: These folks have the best food in the area! The Stir Fry is made with fresh veggies, everything has a wonderful flavor. They deliver too, a big plus! We eat there too many times than I should mention. They have now leased some of their space for a full service Espresso Bar......again......excellent! Oh, and the pies!! Homemade, not frozen...very good.

Excellent Mexican Food
DESCRIPTION: Another good value in Rockaway Beach, and always consistent in quality. Service is excellent, with chips and salsa served right after seating. They will cater to your taste and make sure you don't get anything too hot or spicy if you ask. We have had many things on the menu and have not had a bad dish yet. Prices are very affordable and portions large. The atmosphere is wonderful and if you are having a birthday they sing to you, take your picture, and give you dessert.
