Excellent!
DESCRIPTION: After having worked at Marzano's for most of my high school career, I finally gave up small town life for the city. Now, I've done a rigid search for a pizzeria in the Portland/Vancouver metro area that matched the quality and service that I helped give at Marzano's. Having only come across one pizzeria, Vancouver Pizza Company in downtown Vancouver, I now make it a point to visit Marzano's every time I can make it anywhere near the coast. I mean really, who can resist their excellent pies, especially since they're only a block from the beach! Ah... memories. Take a chance, and head over to Marzano's, and be sure to tell them that Lea sent you!!

Dining a block from the beach
DESCRIPTION: Nice atmosphere, but this is not the previous Manzanita Beach Fireside Cafe - not the same owners, nor is it the same menu, nor does it have the old popular breakfast specials. Owners are less than friendly, which makes it less pleasant than it could be.

Dining near the beach
DESCRIPTION: This little beach cafe is situated in the small, coastal town of Manzanita about a block from the beach, attached to the Spindrift Inn. Previously the Manzanita Beach Fireside Cafe, but it doesn't have the down-home, family-owned atmosphere and mom's special recipes. Service is slower, but atmosphere is a bit classier.

Not the Fireside Anymore
DESCRIPTION: The old Fireside Cafe, run by mom, daughter Sherry, son-in-law Brent and other family members was purchased by a less-than-likeable couple who have attempted to make it upscale. The wonderful, homey dishes (especially at breakfast) are no longer on the menu. It is now called Bistro Manzanita, but don't let the fancy name fool you.

Breakfast!
DESCRIPTION: One of the best spots for breakfast around. I own a cafe in the area, and go there when I want a great and satisfing morning feeding!
