Florida resident discovers a taste of horse country...
DESCRIPTION: A short distance from home, Florida residents enjoyed a leisurly jaunt through "the real Florida" and meandered right into horse country. Rolling hills and beautiful horses a plenty, the pituresque countryside can't be beat. The restuarant, complete with homestyle atmosphere and hearty helpings is a plus. I plan to return with my daughter, who is the horsewoman in the family and treat her to an afternoon at the "races". She is traing two fillies and will be delighted with the surprise.

Old Spanish Sugar Mill Rates A High 5!!!
DESCRIPTION: On Memorial Day 2004 we had the delightful pleasure to eat at this incredible restuarant. Having a grill to fry our own pancakes was unique and FUN! We bought some of their packaged mix and are really excited about purchasing more. It was truly an experience that we will retreat if we ever leave Oregon again.

DESCRIPTION: Art is a very kind soul who's backyard cooking is famous. You never know what's cookin til ya get there. One Day I showed up it was beer boiled smoked chicken; the next time it was Sausage and peppers all very good. Beer is served in cans only and pool tables are free on Tuesday. The last good place to drink a cold beer before Crecent City if your traveling north on HWY 17. Bikers always welcome....

DESCRIPTION: Wonderful surprise, worth the drive. Outstanding food and presentation in this cozy restaurant. Highly recomended. Familys seemed welcome, However I saw only one or two young children, most were adults. Reservation recommended.

Wonderful atmosphere, warm and attentive service, and excellent cuisine!
DESCRIPTION: One of the most wonderful dining experiences! Attention to every detail, from the glass of water upon entry to the detailed desserts offered after a sumptuous meal. The duckling was a melt in your mouth culinary treat. The Angels on horseback were delicious and the finishing touch...Snowball with coffee was over the top!

DESCRIPTION: My husband and I began dating at this dining spot in college! 5 yrs later we occassionally still make the 1.5 hr drive to come back for an outstanding meal~ We have chosen this restaurant to celebrate many special occassions! The food is amazing- the ambiance is cozy and comfortable. Ask for a booth, or the corner table.

DESCRIPTION: My husband and I heard about this place and had to try it out...We are pleased to say we are repeat customers now. The food was marvelous...not only the taste, but the presentation too. From appetizers to dessert it was unforgetable. The creme' brulee' is the best! The ambiance, service and dining are remarkable. If you haven't been there -- you are missing it. It's worth the drive.
