Excellent Chinese Dishes for a Decent Price
DESCRIPTION: After moving to the area, I was disappointed with the quality of some of the Chinese food I tried until someone recommended I try Jade Tree. It's the only Chinese restaurant in the area that has great food that is prepared well and in minimal time. The restaurant is small and somewhat hidden, but the environment is quite nice. Great for take out too and not too expensive.

My Favorite Chinese
DESCRIPTION: Been going to Jade Tree regularly for 4 years. Absolutely the best Chinese food in the area. I take all out-of-town guests there when they come and I have heard nothing but raving reviews. Even my grandparents (80 years old!) said it was the best Chinese they had ever had. Garlic Sauce is their specialty, get a dish with it!

The Best Chinese Food by Far
DESCRIPTION: I was getting discouraged about eating out in Cupertino. I needed to find a nice lunch place with decent prices and good food; Jade Tree is just that -- great food, nice prices, excellent service, a nice atmosphere and they are quick to get you in and out within the lunch hour. They use fresh veggies and they don't skimp on the food. Also, they have great soup and salad with their lunch specials. You can have an excellent lunch for less than $8 (includes tax and tip).

DESCRIPTION: The hot and sour soup is absolutely the best ever. Aside from that lots of great garlic flavored dishes, and with combo vegetable-meat dishes. They do not skimp you on the meat unlike a lot of places. The staff is friendly and the food is ready really fast. Mmmmmmmmmmm

DESCRIPTION: This place has my favorite Agedashi tofu and a few other things like albacore sushi. I've never had anything bad here, and the waitresses are all really nice. It's close to my work so they see me quite often there. The decor is a bit karaoke/disco-ish, but the food really is quite good. Great for take out too.

Good local Chinese
DESCRIPTION: About 80% of the time I go to China Rose, I get their chicken with orange peel, which is very hot and delicious. The service and the food are both better at night than during the day, though it's a pretty good choice for work lunches. The ambiance is simple and it's a good choice for quiet conversation.
