Get the 6 Inch!!!!
DESCRIPTION: When we want a good deli sandwich this is a great place to go! The first time we went, my husband got the footlong sub and regretted it!! It was HUGE!!!! So if you're used to getting a foot long from Subway, rest assured that the 6 inch is still plenty of food!!! If you usually get a 6 inch, either plan to share a sandwich or expect left overs!!! The food is excellent and well worth the money! Unfortunately the sandwiches are all we've tried from the deli so can't offer reviews of anything else.

Good sandwiches
DESCRIPTION: Excellent sandwiches. I have to echo Aubri--if you're full eating a Subway 12-inch, just get the 6-inch here; it's huge! Prices are up there, but are very reasonable for the size of the sandwich. They have some other items you can add (macaroni salad, etc.), but I've never been hungry enough to eat that much!

Not bad
DESCRIPTION: The sandwiches are good. They are *very* slow, and will mess up your order often, ie: order an "XYZ sandwich no mayo," and you'll get mayo. You can watch 'em like a hawk and when they go for the mayo holler at them, but sometimes this is hard to do. They bake fresh breads and other stuff, all seems to be very good.

I think they've given up
DESCRIPTION: Went to the A-Burger just once, a couple weeks ago. They have a "For Sale, so-and-so wants to retire" sign, and it shows in the quality of the food. Burgers were massively overdone and flavorless, and the prices were so high that you could go sit down at a nice restaurant for less. The building also needs to be thoroughly cleaned and redone (or better yet, razed and replaced.)

Lookout Starbucks
DESCRIPTION: You simply could not find better coffee; their bakery is one that Martha Stewart would envy!!!!!!!! Service is superb, and most of all convenient... easy in and easy out.

Wireless internet service
DESCRIPTION: An average cup of joe. They do have perked decaf, unlike the competition. Nice patio and the whole place is wired for internet use (free). The make all pastries in the back but I don't like them as they're way too sweet. No bagels or other standard coffee house stuff available.

Beware high coffee price
DESCRIPTION: The coffee at Lake Gregory coffee Company is very tasty. However it has increased in price 2 times in the past month(April 05)! First it was 11.00 a pound, then 2 weeks ago it was 12.00 a pound now today it was 14.00 a pound! Thats it for me- when I asked why yet another increase the owners wife shrugged her shoulders and said "he did not raise the price enough". I will stop and boycott now. Thanks for keeping the mountain customers happy-NOT.

Family Business At It's Best
DESCRIPTION: Having worked at two coffee shops myself, one being Starbucks, the other a mom & pop owned shop, I can say with some authority that Steve and Andrea have an excellent coffeehouse. If you like Starbucks, you might opt for their darkest brew. Otherwise I suggest the more mild blends which I find have more character to them. They also make a top notch latte, as their espresso machine is of high quality, kept in good working order, and only people trained to use it will be making your drinks! As Steve has told me, "If you are going to pay 3 bucks for a fancy coffee, it better be made right." I especially enjoy their chocolate chip scones, which should speak volumes considering I'm not a huge fan of chocolate to begin with. They also have in-season fruit scones, such as apricot which are my second favorite, and use fresh fruits in all of their smoothies. The place is always kept neat, and I'm a stickler for cleanliness, so I'd know if it was at all dirty. The side patio has plenty of seating, even for larger parties, and allows for "people watching" of those walking along the towns sidewalks. What keeps me coming back is that they sincerely appreciate their customers and have a tight quality control regarding their drinks and pastries. By the way, if you were planning on having a bad day, call ahead and make sure Annie isn't working, her smile is quite contagious.

Best Coffee on the Mountain!
DESCRIPTION: If you're looking for a fabulous cup of joe, you'll find it here! Their edibles are usually good as well, and they offer bottles of Stewart's soda in the cooler (a huge bonus!). The decor is charming and friendly; the place is always well kept. Staff is attentive. If you're on the go, they have a nifty curbside parking spot so you can get in and out in a jiffy. Basically, this is the one spot that has all the best touches!

Great food, for me anyway.
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I both have gone here twice. I found the food to be excellent, much like a Mexican restaurant in the town where I grew up. My wife found the food bland. Go figure. Service was fast, and prices were good too. Next time my wife's out of town, I know where I'm eating! :-)

Best Mexican Food on the Mountain.
DESCRIPTION: My husband and I eat here often and we have always enjoyed it. The service is also excellent, with several different people making sure you have everything you need. They give you chips and salsa if you order to go. We recommend this restaurant highly!

Not bad, not the best
DESCRIPTION: We've been here a couple of times. While there was nothing specifically wrong with the food, there was nothing outstanding either. It's about what you'd probably expect from the average kitchen with a basic laundry list of spices available. The food is probably on par with Coco's or IHOP, and the prices are equivalent.

Hey, it's pizza, right?
DESCRIPTION: The pizza is, well, Round Table. Large dining area with video games for the kids. They have a Mountain Special, which is a large pepperoni pizza for about $10. Avoid delivery as, for us, it's always been late and cold, and you can drive into town and pick it up in 15 minutes, rather than wait 60-75 minutes for delivery.

Biscuit 'n Gravy a big hit!
DESCRIPTION: Whenever we go to Crestline, we eat at this particular place. Not only has it got a cozy atmosphere and good food but the prices are great and the service is the best. Everyone who eats there is treated like a long lost friend. If your a biscuit and gravy fan like I am, you can't find it any better than Madelines Oceanview.
